FREE Tutorial on the Meaning & Power of Anjali Mudra

  • Kaia Yoga Darien 10 Center Street Darien, CT, 06820 United States (map)

At Kaia Yoga we introduce our students to not only the physical poses, but also to deeper meanings behind the practice, through asana, mudra, mantra, meditation and pranayama.

One mudra included in almost all of our classes is Anjali mudra, prayer hands at heart-center.
At first glance, it's just a gesture to welcome ourselves to the mat.

But it's so much more … divine masculine energy of the right hand meets divine feminine energy of the left hand, together in balance at our heart, the symbolic center of loving kindness.
