Kaia Yoga’s 300-hour Teacher Training program is the next step in your yoga teaching career. A program dedicated to developing new skills, enhancing your voice and advancing your knowledge of the science of yoga. The 300-hour program builds from the foundational 200-hour teacher training program, a place for you to continue your journey and learn more about hands-on adjustments, meditation, advanced creative sequencing and skillful teaching. Upon completion, you'll earn the full Yoga Alliance 500-hour Certification.

Our 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training includes required Core Modules to strengthen the foundations you learned in the 200hr YTT such as hands on advanced adjustments, creative sequencing, anatomy and pranayama, subtle body, and meditation.
Participants customize the rest of the program to tailor to their individual interests taking 5 Elective Course trainings from a list of Advanced Elective Studies.
In addition to the core modules and elective courses, reading and homework assignments, in class adjusting, karma hours, home practice and journaling are included in this program.

In the 300hr YTT program you will choose your path from a wide variety of Advanced Elective Studies, including:
Teaching Kids Yoga
The Science and Structure of Restorative Yoga
The Fundamentals of Yin Yoga
Thai Massage Level 1&2
Advanced Sanskrit Studies
Gentle Methodology

* 80 Total Classes - 75min. Classes
- It is recommended to take at least one weekly class with a senior teacher
- These classes fulfill 100hrs of required training time
Mentor Check in Progress Meetings: ($600 Value included in program)
-(4) 30 minute Progress Meetings with your mentor
-Should be scheduled every 4-5 months over the 2 years of the training
300hr Teacher/Student Community Chats:
-Periodic scheduled post class chats with trainers - days and times will be sent out in advance
Meditation:
-(10) Meditation Sits in studio or virtual
-Home Practice: 15 minutes of meditation at least 5 days a week
Journal:
-Trainees are required to keep a daily journal of asana practice and meditation
-Make notes about the teacher training experience.
-This expertise is expected to be a thoughtful appraisal of your experience
Observations , Assists:
-(4) Class Assists: In class adjustments with a Teacher Trainer / Mentor
Homework and final papers :
-There will be homework assigned and due after each core module as well as additional papers and requirements after you have completed all electives.
Yoga Therapy Paper:
-You will work privately with a student on a specific therapeutic condition. Your paper should include a brief description of the student’s issue, a description of the issue including causes, symptoms and therapeutic sequencing to help the condition and contraindications.
Pranayama (2) plans:
-(30) minute pranayama exercise for someone with anxiety
-(30) minute pranayama exercise for someone with depression
Elective Paper:
-Write a paper on one of the Elective Modules of your choice.
-Include what you learned, ideas and practices that will move you deeper into the topic and how you will integrate what you have learned into your life and your classes
Karma hours:
-Giving back to the community for 10 hours. Put what you learned in action with your choice of community class/project. Kaia Yoga will help support and promote any way we can to help spread the love of yoga.
Final Class:
-To complete your training, you can select a mentor from the senior teachers list and connect with them to discuss and schedule teaching a free 75 Open Level Kaia class.

Once enrolled, participants will have up to 2 years to complete the training. This is designed to be self-paced so that you can curate and keep track of your individualized path.

300hr YTT Class Card Special
Participants receive 10% off of class cards (up to 80 classes) to complete your 80 class requirement.

4 Core Modules
The Core Modules are 14hrs each and may be broken up into 2 days.
Dates and times of the 4 core modules and electives will be offered 2-3 times a year with several options to accommodate for different schedules. Subject to guest teachers availability.

Students may withdraw from the training within 30 days of start date for any reason for a refund of any tuition paid, less a completely non-refundable $500 administrative deposit. No payments will be refunded within 30 days of start days but the funds may be used towards another training should we schedule another within one year from the student’s original application date. Students on payment plans who withdraw are required to complete their tuition payments on the original schedule in order to be eligible to participate in another training within one year. In the event that we do not schedule another training, the entire sum will be refundable. In the event that a student is refused continuation of the program at any time for any reason, there will be no refunds made and the student will be charged any remaining tuition balance.
