What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a relaxing guided meditation also known as "yogic sleep". The yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.
Benefits of Yoga Nidra
This experience stimulates the hormones in the pineal gland, which releases melatonin -- a hormone that reduces stress, boosts the immune system, and can greatly improve irregular sleep patterns. Yoga Nidra is a great way to release physical, emotional and energetic blockages.
Benefits of being guided into this relaxed state include:
reducing stress and anxiety
promote emotional and physical healing
increase creativity
improves focus and agility in other activities
improved overall well being and mood
