These specialized trainings will cover asana variations focusing on a different area of the body for each session. You will learn how to provide intelligent modifications for your students with deeper understandings of considerations in the following focused topics:
Session 1: June 24 | Shoulders, Elbows, Wrist
Session 2: July 29 | Knees, Hips, Leg
Session 3: August 26 | Spine & Back
Each session is divided into two parts. The first part will begin with a brief introduction and discussion, followed by an hour-long asana practice. This section is open to all, including yoga practitioners as well as teachers.
This training course includes the practice session as well as a three hour intensive to follow, which include an anatomy review and a discussion of how common injuries can occur, as well as cues, modifications and sequencing suggestions to help reduce the risk of injury.
