Susan Layden

Susan began her life of movement as a gymnast. She competed, taught and coached gymnastics. She is grateful she found discipline and freedom in movement at a young age. Always the student she has practiced a variety of yoga styles including Bikram and Ashtanga.  She has currently devoted her yoga practice to vinyasa flow. She focuses deeply on connecting breath and movement.

Susan did her 500 hour teacher training at Kaia which she completed in 2018.  She is grateful to have Kaia as her Kula and to be a student of Gina Normans. She completed her Little Flower Children’s certification at Kaia and is just as comfortable teaching adults as children.

For the past 14 years, Susan has been a student and instructor in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. She has received the rank of 4th Dan under Grand Master Ik Jo Kang. She is registered under TKD Jidokwan in Korea. Susan is committed to her family, her practices, and giving back to her community.
