David, a Rock Spot regular and experienced yoga teacher, will lead a fun workshop introducing climbers to the benefits of adding yoga to their climbing routine. From the mat to the slab, learn how to translate movements and balance and how to rest and restore your body afterwards.
As a group, we will explore such topics as finding balance in motion, balancing complementary muscles, learning to move as a whole, strengthening your core, and improving flexibility in your spine, shoulders, and hips.
Students will leave with a warm-up sequence (10 minutes each) before climbing and a stretch sequence after climbing to improve their performance.
